I began racing in College. I always enjoyed bike racing as a kid growing up but never knew how to start. When I got to college I decided it was time to give it a try. I joined a club called Alpine Velo. That was in about 1990. My first races were in Utah and Wyoming and I traveled with my teammates. I’ve been riding with ZiaVelo since 2002. My big goals for this year are simply to support any younger racers that might be in the same category with me especially in the tour of the Gila.
