Cat 5 Road/Cat 2 Mountain
I’ve been riding bikes casually for most of my life, but after a running injury in 2017, I began spending most of my free time in the saddle. This activity that I was doing to stay in shape while exploring the outdoors quickly turned into a passion and lifestyle. I started racing for fun and was pleasantly surprised to find myself on the podium at each race. In March of this year, I raced in the single-speed solo category of a 10-hour endurance race competing against a field of all men but one and got 3rd place. The success of that race and the support of ZiaVelo has encouraged me to move up to Cat 1 MTB.

2019 GOALS:
My racing goals this year are to be 1st place in the single-speed women’s category in the NM Off-Road Series, complete the No Tortillas 100-Miler (an adventure endurance race), and set the women’s single-speed course record for the DangerBird 350 (a bikepacking event that takes place on the Monumental Loop). With the support and encouragement of ZiaVelo, I believe I can achieve these goals. I’m very excited about this race season!
