I began riding bikes when I was three and I have been in love with them ever since my Dad took the training wheels off.  I raced BMX in my teens and then transitioned to road bikes in my mid-teens.  Nothing super competitive really but always loved to ride and train and did so off and on for years.  Then in 2007 I got into triathlons and bega in many sprint, olympic and half-iron distances before discovering off road triathlons (XTERRA). I have been fortunate to have competed in many XTERRA races including 2012, 2014, and 2015 XTERRA Nationals, 2015 XTERRA West Championship and 2015 XTERRA World Championship.  Now the transition to Endurance Mountain biking has begun and If all goes well this season I will be racing the 2017 Leadville 100MTB…basically my plan for 2017 is train more, learn more, race more and enjoy every second in my first year with the Zia Velo Team. I’m excited and honored to be riding with some of the best athletes in the state and proud to be representing Zia Velo on the road and in the mountains!!!
